John DiDonna and Seth Kubersky, Producers

Empty.
Void.
Blank.
The moment before,
The moment of,
Inspiration.
Creation

That is what the empty spaces theatre company is founded on. The inspiration that a blank canvas brings to an artist,.a solitary piano in a quiet room brings to a musician, . . .the bare page brings to a writer.

Our dedication is to explore the essential and fundamental aspects of theatrical expression, - emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual, and philosophical - through a highly charged atmosphere set forth for all our productions,
to prize collaboration and exploration as essential to our foundation, and to foster theatrical artists through our productions.

The empty space is indeed not empty, but filled with the promise all artists yearn for.

"Best place to see something edgy: Empty Spaces Theatre Co., which may not have a permanent home but has a permanent place in audiences' hearts as the theater company most likely to introduce them to a weird new world. From Stripped to Bent to Beckett, Empty Spaces has prodded theatergoers into thinking and feeling — which is what theater is about."
