Set in a courtroom in a void called “Hope” - located somewhere in the bad part of downtown purgatory, and at a time when it is no longer for contemplation, but for litigation, Last Days takes us on a journey into the appeals trial of one Judas Iscariot - the infamous “Savior Betrayer” of the gospels.
The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is proud to include some of the finest actors working in Central Florida : Dennis Neal, Babette Garber, Peg O'Keef, Stephen Lima, Alexis Jackson, Avis Marie Barnes, Roger Floyd, Lawrence Benjamin, Marty Stonerock, Mark Edward Smith, Jeremy Wood, Trenell Mooring, Joel Warren, , Thomas Young, Sarah Lee Dobbs, Pat Ward, and Valensky Sylvain. The work is to be directed and designed by John DiDonna, with additional direction by Empty Spaces co-artistic director Seth Kubersky, with original sound design by Kevin G. Becker and costuming by Jennifer Bonner.
All performances will be in the Mandell Theater of the Lowndes Shakespeare Center located in Loch Haven Park . Preview performance on Thursday, June 18 th , with opening on June 19 th (including a talk back with CITA (Christians in Theatre Arts) members.
