“We are hidden behind masks that cover up our deepest insecurities, fears and emotions.” Fear. Phobias. Anxiety. It intrigues us. We hide it and try not to discuss it past childhood. Each day we are taught to block out or cover up our feelings, repressing that part of our very selves. PHOBIAS is a movement theatre performance exploring how fear manifests itself in the body. Do we Retreat? Collapse? Hide? Expand? Excite? Freeze? |
